About me
Ciao, sono Giada!
I’ve been a professional Italian teacher since 2011 and have been conducting online courses since 2015.
Education
Raised in Padua, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in History and Protection of Cultural Heritage at the University of Padua and a Master’s Degree in Art History at the University of Bologna.
Specialization as a Teacher of Italian for Foreigners
To specialize as an Italian teacher, I obtained the Diploma from Dilit International House in Rome. I hold Ditals 2 Certification from the University for Foreigners of Siena and a Master’s in “Advanced Planning of Teaching Italian Language and Culture to Foreign Students” from the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice, where my thesis focused on e-learning.
Author of Italian textbooks
In 2016, I began co-authoring Italian textbooks for the publisher Casa delle Lingue.
Having lived in various cities in Italy and Spain, I’ve taught Italian at renowned language learning institutions such as Dilit International House in Rome, the Italian Cultural Center in Seville, and the General Foundation of the University of Malaga.
Currently residing in Malaga, I continue to share my passion for Italian language and culture through online teaching.
MY METHOD
How you will learn
My teaching methods are rooted in a communicative approach, empowering students to actively engage with the language right from the beginner’s level. Each lesson promises not only the acquisition of new knowledge but also a boost in enthusiasm and motivation.
We will delve into all facets of language acquisition, including speaking, pronunciation, fluency, intonation, listening, reading, grammar, and vocabulary—tailoring our sessions to meet your specific needs.
We’ll employ authentic materials like newspaper articles, movie excerpts, and book passages. I find joy in incorporating songs and games to explore grammar intricacies or acquire new vocabulary. If you share this enthusiasm, our time together promises to be both enjoyable and educational.
Above all, my priority is to ensure that lessons are enjoyable and stress-free, fostering a conducive environment for rapid and effective learning.
